Question by DeKota: Skipping a period on Levlen Ed – is this safe?
I am on Levlen Ed and today is the last pill (tomorrow I start the sugar tablets).
I have a holiday booked next week and get painful periods
So, my question is, is it safe to skip a period with Levlen Ed (not taking the sugar tablets)?
Levlen Ed is a combined pill if you’re not sure what type it is
I should also add that this will be my first period while on the pill, is it still safe?

Best answer:

Answer by noa
It’s called going back to back and it’s fine, your only missing a withdrawal bleed not an actual period. Start the new pack tomorrow, spotting towards the end of the next pack is a common side effect of doing this so don’t worry.

Question by Ben: Intimate Performance issue (need remedies)?
Hello, i have a very serious question, and i need serious answers please. Recently over that last 2 months i have developed a stress, anxienty related sexual performance issue, i can achieve an erection but when i begin intercourse, my penis goes limp. mind u, im only 23 and i have never had an erection problem before in my life. I have figured it has to do with anxienty, stress and depression, all of which i regretable have.
Sometimes i achieve an erection while im laying with my girlfriend or have one for over an hour without intent, but as far as sex goes, i cant mainatin and erection for intercourse…
I have read and heard about the natural effects of Nitric Oxide, and its uses for ED. Now, im asking if any of you have had any experience taking such a remedy, or any similar remedies excluding prescribed medications. I have two doctors i can talk to, luckily their both foreign doctors and practice natural medicine, so this would be right up their alley.
Please give me whatever information you can about natural remedies for ED, including topical formulas, sensitizing oils, etc, non illegal enhancers. Also will alcohol possible help, i dont regularly drink, i do not smoke, but my girlfriend does, i dont smoke weed or do any drugs. This might be informitive, this started around the time when i used a flowmax pill prescibed to me, but it was one single pill and i have take them before with no problematic side effects relating to ED. I have tried basic water based KY lube, would it help if i had a warming version of the lube instead.
onem more question as well. I probly have high blood pressure, what can i take thats natural to lower it?

Thank You in advance

Best answer:

Answer by Poop
You really should see a medical professional. These are serious issues which require medical intervention.

I was diagnosed with anorexia, body dysmorphic disorder, and orthorexia (fear of gaining weight)

Right now, my doctors want me to maintain my weight, even though it’s low because they don’t want me to gain and relapse.

I’ve been eating 500 calories a day and under, and even that is difficult, but I’m ready to let go. This is extremely difficult for me and it’s going to be a long road.

What can I do to maintain my weight and not gain?

Best answer:

Answer by alexandra m
get a nutritionist. thats seriously the only way you can recover from an ED. that and a therapist and a psychiatrist and a medical doctor. i don’t know anything about you or your body so i cannot tell you how to maintain your weight but a nutritionist could .

im in healthy condition, i exercise 3-4 times a week, i do martial arts 5 times a week.
but my problem is my mind. i suffer from anxiety(especially sexual performance anxiety with my girlfriend) paranoia and sometimes low self esteem(its random, sometimes im real confident then can quick quickly turn self conscious). i have a weird sleeping pattern but sleep around 6-9 hours. i want to know if theres anything i can do or any supplements that can help with all these, its all really starting to bug me. please help

Best answer:

Answer by Tomorrow
There is something called L Tryptophan. As we get older there are certain enzymes in our bodys that reduce the amount of tryptophan in your body. You need this to produce serotonin which can lead to poor sleep quality Emotional mood and stress Weight gain and appetite Loss of feeling of well-being.

It is a supplement that you can buy over the counter and is perfectly safe for your age…. The one I use I buy for My Healthy Buys online…. They sell life extension products who make the best stufff. Check them out at www.shop.myhealthybuys.com and look under mood enhancers

Hi there,

Since the past a few months, I have been having problem with my sexual life. I cannot pro-long sex and also having erection problem.
I feel horney most of the times and end up jerking off like 3-4 time a weeks. I do have a steady girl friend and she’s quite satisfied with me. But I personally do not feel satisfied by my performance as I do not enjoy it most for i get off very quickly just in a few minutes after pumping in & out.
I also tried pfizer-viagra,, it also does not prolong it longer than 10mins in my case.. It’s really disturbing me somehow. Any advices on this?
I’m thinkg to go for consultation. So any ideas what kind of doc should i consult with? Are there some kinda specialist for this case? Or any ordinary doc would be ok? Please advise..Thanks

Question by hoag1964: ED problem any herbal remedies?
I have suffered from ED for a while now and I have tried all the so called wonder drugs (Viagra, Cialis and Levitra) and none of them help. Is there any herbal remedy that works?

Best answer:

Answer by John First
Performance anxiety is the most common cause of losing or not getting an erection. It is the result of being in your head worrying about whether or not you will get hard or stay hard. Once you start to do that you get caught in a “fear of failure” cycle which keeps reinforcing itself. How to deal with this problem is explained in simple terms in a small inexpensive book on premature ejaculation.

There are a lot of high-priced programs advertised online but all you need is this inexpensive little book written by a doctor and sex therapist that has been used successfully for more than 32 years.

It is called “Lasting Longer: The Treatment Program for Premature Ejaculation” by Dr. Sy Silverberg M.D. For more information just google the author’s name: Dr. Sy Silverberg M.D.

Question by Helene: If a person without any ED problem takes Cialis, will it augment his virility or affect adversely?

Best answer:

Answer by Drake
CIALIS will not help you if you do not have erectile dysfunction. Keep in mind that the cause of your ED does play a role in how effective Cialis or ED medications are. They can successfully treat mild, moderate and severe ED problems – whether the problem is occasional or constant. So it is not advisable to take Cialis without ED problems as it may certainly pose some adverse side effects in future. Also if your doctor says you are not fit for sexual activity, do not take Cialis for ED treatment.

After a 2 year relationship ended leaving me devastated, broken and in deep depression, I find out that my sex drive is “malfunctioning”. Is it possible that an end of relationship can cause impotence? Every time I think of my ex being with another guy, it kills me and my erection…., and I cant stop thinking of it. Oh I am 28.
The relationship ended 9 months ago. Her new bf came into picture a moth ago.

Best answer:

Answer by slurpydawg
Yes! It happened to me for a few months and I found out it’s normal. It’ll come back after that and you’ll have more trouble controlling it.

Question by Gabby_Gabby_Purrsalot: Prostrate cancer and radiation seeds?
My dad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer yesterday, and I’ve been doing a little research. I learned that if he has this “radiation seed” procedure done, he’s going to have to stay away from pregnant women and small children for some months (which could be a problem for my recently married brother and sister-in-law…but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there).

My current question is: Does this procedure always result in impotence? My mom said that the doctor mentioned it would. Is this something Viagra (or a simular drug) could remedy?

Links, if you could. Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by SafetyDancer
There have been many advances in prostate cancer treatment even since I had mine 5 years ago. I’ve seen several informative sites, but I found them simply by googling “prostate cancer” and then adding any additional words to the search regarding specifics.

To answer your “current question”, almost always. And, yes, some men respond well to medications like Viagra, but many do not. There are many prosthetic appliances, implants and other devices that can also be used. The important thing is to get the cancer cured.

And, yes, there is some degree of quarantine involving the radioactive seeds – but, it is usually only a matter of months.

What do you think? Answer below!

Question by Kami: Are some cases of ED indirectly subsequent because of your partner?
If a man can get stimulation by looking elsewhere (vids, mags, strip clubs etc.) but has problems with his partner, it’s not that he has ED. Obviously, there is not much attraction to stimulate him or his partner has let his/her looks go significantly. Is this common in those with ED aside from those that can’t regardless of what stimulates him?
Oh, I don’t have this problem. I was just wondering because my bf is 44 and he’s no different than if I were to date a guy my age. This is just something I never really believed to be much of a medical problem.

Best answer:

Answer by TG
Yes, it’s common. And it indicates a relationship issue, not a medical problem. I encourage you to seek counseling. Good luck.

Question by Steve L: I am on 100 MG/day of nortriptyline for DPNP (Diabetic Neuropathy).?
I suspect that the nortriptyline has contributed to my total impotence. I would like to regain whatever ability of sexual activity I can. I would like to reduce by 25MG every three days. Would that be gradual enough? Any advice or thought would be most appreciated

Best answer:

Answer by syl c.
If a person does develop sexual side effects, it is difficult to know whether these problems are caused by another condition or by nortriptyline itself.

However, if you develop any sexual side effects while taking nortriptyline, make sure to talk with your healthcare provider. There is treatment that he or she may be able to recommend, such as an erectile dysfunction medication. Depending on the severity of your sexual side effects, he or she may also recommend that you adjust your nortriptyline dosage or try another medication for your neuropathy. These are options to consider with your doctor and both are tough and painful in their own way.

Hope this helps.

Question by jaimeb49: i used a vacuum device and i ruptured blood vessels can i correct the vessels that got ruptured?
because of that my impotence got worst

Best answer:

Answer by Guru Hank
When you say ‘vacuum device’, did you get one of those things from the small ads, or did you use a domestic cleaning machine? The force caused by the vacuum will have been much greater with one than with the other. If it was the former, you might try to contact the makers, they may have some sort of insurance policy which you could claim against for accidents of this type. If it was a domestic or commercial cleaning machine, they are probably covered by some sort of warning against improper use, and would not be helpful.

I would ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist. Perhaps the sort of people who deal with decompression accidents in the diving industry.

What do you think? Answer below!
